Positive Visualization Practice – Happiness
Simple practices using positive visualization can help us feel better. You may be thinking how can something like this be helpful. I asked the same question for many years, thinking that focus and awareness meditations were the only way to practice. After practicing meditation for twenty years, I started working with positive visualization and found it provides me with similar results to the other meditations. They are worth the effort.
Give yourself a moment and allow the feeling of love to flow throughout the mind and body. Feel safe and free from danger. Feel strength and good health throughout your entire body. Feel energy and excitement radiating within you. Happiness comes to mind and the feeling of happiness starts in the heart and flows throughout the body. Comfort and ease are felt. You are still, peaceful, and quiet. As you develop and truly feel these sensations, they will become part of you and you can bring them back anytime you are struggling. The more you practice, the stronger these feelings will become. Just a minute here and there throughout the day can be a big help in feeling good.
