Visualization Practice – Be Happy
Positive affirmations can improve your outlook. Here are a few common affirmations. Feel free to use them or make up your own. You can focus on just one at a time or add three or four of them together. It is all about what works for you.
May I feel love
May I be strong
May I be excited and energetic
May I be happy
May I be comfortable and at ease
May I be peaceful, still, and quiet
Start by writing them down and reading them back to yourself. This may not feel comfortable or realistic at first but stick with it for a few minutes each time. When you have them memorized, say them to yourself. Finally, stop thinking and just feel them. As you develop your affirmations and truly feel each one, they will become part of you and you will have a more positive outlook.
