Life’s Ups and Downs
All of us wish that life would be good all the time, but with the positive comes the difficult. We can be healthy one day and sick the next. We can have a great job, partner, or place in our community and the next moment all these can be gone. This is life and we have to work with what we are given.
Our mental activities are another matter, we have control over the stories we have in our minds. This is something most of us do not know and that is sad. We have a choice in improving our lives through how we react and how we work with our mental activities. Meditation provides us the tools to look at our mental activity more closely and make more positive choices.
